Beyond the Sunset

"Beyond the sunset, O blissful morning
When with our Savior heaven's begun
Earth's toiling ended, O glorious dawning
Beyond the sunset when day is done.

Beyond the sunset, no clouds will gather

No storms will threaten, no fears annoy
O day of gladness, O day unending
Beyond the sunset eternal joy.

Beyond the sunset, a hand will guide me
To God the Father whom I adore
His glorious presence, His word of welcome
Will be my portion on that fair shore.

Beyond the sunset, O glad reunion

With our dear loved ones who've gone before
In that fair homeland we'll know no parting
Beyond the sunset forever more..."

~Virgil and Blanche Brock

This is one of my favorite gospel songs.  There is a part of the song that is spoken but I didn't list the lyrics here.

  2. Hi Jackie and thanks. I've been having a difficult time for the past few days. I've been sick and I'm still not feeling well. Christmas was very difficult and I'm sure New Years will be too. We're going to my sisters in St. Pete tomorrow to get away from the house. We will be moving by the end of January. We will live with my sister here in Spring Hill for hopefully only a couple of months while I try to feel better and get a job. I'm all Dad has left now. The others are married and have families. I stayed to help Mom when she first was diagnosed with RA and then something always came up to stop me from leaving. Not that I would have had it any other way. I'm glad I had all the time I did with her. Now Dad needs me.

Hope your Christmas was a joyous one and your New Year will be everything you hope for.

    Love,
    Cindy

  4. Thanks BaysidLife. I love this photo. I took it a while back when I lived in Wimauma Florida. I loved it there and the sunsets over that field could be really gorgeous as you can see.
