The view from Crisp Park

Crisp Park, St. Petersburg Florida

"There are always two people in every picture: the photographer and the viewer."  ~Ansel Adams

I recently discovered an app on my iPad that I just LOVE!  It's called XnView Fx.  It's one of many I've found and think is just the bees knees!  This photo was modified with an effect called Polaxoid.  I hope it looks as good here (on your computer) as it does on the iPad, which by the way I am enjoying way too much.  How did I live without it for so long.  Wishing everyone a wonderfully fantastic weekend.

Until next time...

Cindy

I'm so happy that you have an iPad, Cindy.
The app that you used for this photo is wonderful!

    1. Thanks Jackie. Have a wonderful Mother's Day. I plan on spending it with my Mama as usual. This year it will be just in a different way but I'll be with her.

      Love,
      Cindy

    2. What a loving way to share the love with your Mama, Cindy....
It's Monday, and I am thinking of you and hoping that you are having a good beginning to a new week.
I'm going to work with Daddy at the lake in Florida again this week. I'm going over there around 11 A.M. today. I am such a Daddy's girl, and I love working with him. We (my husband, my Daddy and I) are building a fence. I'll have to share some photos with you later.
I wanted to say hello and let you know that I thought of you yesterday. Give those sweet furry friends of mine another hug. They are indeed "Man's best friends".
      Love,
      Jackie

    3. Thank you Jackie. Fence building sounds like hard work. Hope you all got a lot accomplished. I love my Dad, but I will admit to being a Mama's girl. Can't wait to see your photos. I hope you had a great Mother's Day. Charlie and Annie send hugs. I should tell you that Annie tried getting at a turtle today. She stuck her head in the hole and came out with dirt all over her face. So relieved that she didn't get bit by it. You can check her out by clicking on the Instagram icon in the right column just above the calendar.

      Love,
      Cindy

    1. Thanks Di. It's a small park but a nice one. My brother-in-law and sister launched the boat from there.

  5. Lovely photo of a lovely place. And thanx for the heads-up on the iPad app. I'm gonna check it out, although I'm still using my computer and Photoshop for my photography. Maybe I'm behind the times?

    1. Again I apologize, I haven't done much blogging in the past few months and I guess when I do come here I'm not that observant. Thank you, it was a very pretty spot. I love my iPad and it takes pretty good photos of objects that are close but zooming is not that great.
