My Sweet Angels

Charlie

Annie
"Sometimes the angels God sends to watch over us have four legs and a tail."  ~Anonymous

These are my sweet angels Charlie and Annie.  I honestly don't know what I'd do without them.  They have brought so much love, joy and laughter into my life.

    1. Thank you Jackie. They're my babies and I love them more than I can say. I like the quote too.

      I hope you're having a great week.

    1. Happyone,

I've had Charlie since he was 8 weeks old. He will be 9 on January 30th. Annie will be 8 on February 19th and I've had her since she was 12 weeks old. They are both sweet and spoiled rotten.

      Happy Thursday

  4. The usual ups and downs but overall a good week. I hope your week is going good. I loved your photos of the little boat and lake. Gorgeous!
Charlie is doing well. Annie still has an ear infection so the vet put more of the medicated gel down in her ears. She didn't like it but she was a good girl and didn't put up too much of a fuss.

The weather here has been dreary. Some much needed rain over the last two days and it looks like more today.

    Have a great Thursday Jackie.

    Hugs to you,
    Cindy

    1. The weather is the same here, Cindy...dreary, gray, and rainy. We need the rain, but I look forward to the sun showing itself again.
I hope that Annie's ears feel better. Thank goodness for meds for your sweet girl. She should be fine soon. Hugs to both of them.
I'm trying to finish up my (short) Christmas list.
      Nuther hug,
      J.

  5. Hi Jackie, hope you were able to get your shopping done. I still have a little to do but I'm kinda sidelined for a day or two or until I feel better. I spent the evening in the ER having irregular heartbeats. I have a history of afib, flutter and re-entrant tachycardia. I'm use to how they make me feel but every so often I have an episode that really makes me feel horrible. I've also had some episodes of feeling lightheaded and as if the lights are about to go out. I explained this yesterday when I went to my cardiologists office to have my PT/INR (Coumadin level checked). They didn't like the sound of it and made me have an EKG. The EKG showed that I was in Flutter. They made me go to the ER to be converted. They try medication first, then if that doesn't work they try the paddles. I was lucky. Just before they were getting ready to give me meds I converted on my own. Tests showed no heart failure but my potassium was low. I got four baby aspirin and a very distasteful orange juice concoction to help with my potassium. Will follow up with my cardiologist today. Don't know if he will want to see me today or not. I hope it can wait until next week.

Say hello to your Mama for me. I hope she's feeling we'll.

    Hugs,
    Cindy

    2. Hi Cindy. It's Sunday, and I'm just now reading this post.
Oh no!! Poor girl... I'm so very sorry to hear that you were in tachycardia. Praise the Lord that you converted before they brought out the paddles. Oh, I'm so very sorry to read this.
I'm going to do my best to get a card/letter in the mail to you tomorrow.
Please, keep a close check on your potassium. I got a call from the doctor saying mine was too low (after a blood test was done) and he put me in the hospital and started a potassium IV. That was THE most painful IV to me. I am a grown woman, but I cried when they gave me that. It was like "blood on fire"...that's the best way I can explain it. So, please, do whatever it takes to keep your potassium at the correct level. It is vital for your heart's function. I know that you know all that, but just doing a little nagging...friends are allowed, right?
      :))
Please, let me know what your cardiologist said about your heart.
      I care.
Love to you and your Dad,
      Jackie
