Ho-hum of a day

Nothing all that great to post today. I'm a little ho-hum about blogging the last couple or so days. I love blogging and I love posting and sharing my photos. I guess I'm a little more tired than usual and the simple things seem to wear me out more easily than before.

The following are three of six photos I took earlier today.  Three of the photos came out horribly and so I won't post them.  I will tell you they are of the Chickadee when it first lands thru take off.

Hello gorgeous!

Slurp, slurp, slurp...slurp

Ahh, that was cool and refreshing

Today started off rather ordinary and finished the same way. The sky was overcast and at times some dark clouds rolled in and then out. Tomorrow we have a 70% chance of rain and although we need it I'm dreading not being able to get outside with my camera. Hopefully, it will rain early in the day and then clear out.

Have a great Tuesday everyone!

  1. Looks like the chickadee was looking at his reflection in the first shot. Cute captures, Cindy!

  2. You certainly need not apologize for these. I envy your ability to capture these wee birds so well. Delightful post!

It's overcast and raining here today which I didn't expect at all. But tomorrow should be better. I hope. Golf is on the schedule! :)

Thank you so much for your very nice comments today, Cindy; they are greatly appreciated!

    1. Thank you Lowell! I'm not sure why I said that. I hope you keep trying to get some shots of them. They really love Sunflower seeds. It started raining here before the sun came up and is now only sprinkling. Hopefully not for long though and I can get out. I hope your weather improves so you can get your golf game in.
You 're welcome. You amaze me with all your travel shots. You are everywhere it seems. I really need to get out more because I'm missing a lot.

  3. Cindy...I bought a new bag (big one) of bird seed. The little gals and guys have been missing it here; I've shorted them this past week! I went to town yesterday and got them a boatload of it, and I can't wait to share it with them. They seem so grateful.
I love the little chic looking at himself/herself in the bird bath. Cute caption...and right on it!!
I do hope that you are taking care of your health; don't overdo...yet continue to get out and enjoy, my friend. I love your photos. Thank you for sharing them with me.
It's overcast here today (Tuesday) too...but it will clear up for us tonight. Tomorrow is anuthu day (said in my best Scarlett voice)...
    Hugs and love to you,
    Jackie
P.S. I sent you an e-mail on March 4. I hope you received it. If not, let me know and I will re-send it.

    1. Your little visitors will be so happy. I have to go and get some more too. I'm down to just a little and what's in the one feeder. The squirrels have been eating it too but if Annie sees them she quickly chases them away. She's my little hunter. Of course I hope she never catches one.
I'm not really able to do a lot Jackie. My heart rate is all over the place and it makes me feel weak and bad. I had another one of the head (near fainting) episodes yesterday while at the eye doctors with Dad. I've also been having the headache more frequently but maybe I've just been using my camera and computer too much. Who knows? I hope you are doing well and your loved ones too. Say hi to your Mama for me.
It's raining here but not much right now. Hopefully it will quit soon. I think I need to get outside for a bit. I love your Scarlett voice! Lol.
I don't think your email came through. I could be wrong but if you don't mind, please resend. Have a wonderful week and hope your weather clears up for you.
      Hugs,
      Cindy

  4. Nice pictures. We can't always choose our photo subjects,or the weather, but that is the challenge of photography.

    1. Thank you Ruth. I must say I've been lucky today. The rain cleared out early and I've been out and enjoyed the cooler weather and birds.

  5. Some days are like that, Cindy. It's hard to post when you feel tired. But chickadees are always good for raising tour spirits...the spirits of your visitors anyway.

    1. I guess you're right about that. Gladly I can say today has been better than I expected or at least the afternoon has. I love the little Chickadees and they always make me smile. :)

  6. Sweet and lovely captures of this cute little bird. They are one of my favorites because they seem so animated. :) I'm feeling tired and drained as well. Must be something in the air! Hope you are able to get out soon again after the rain.

    1. Thank you Gail. One of mine too. I was able to get out a little today. The rain ended early but it stayed dreary and it turned cool. No real photo ops to speak of, maybe tomorrow. Hope your energy level returns soon!
