Palm Warbler

Palm Warbler

"It is not half so important to know as to feel."  ~Rachel Carson

I discovered this little guy/gal flitting between two trees one evening this past weekend.  As far as I can tell it's a Palm Warbler.  I used my iPad app PhotoToaster to add the stone texture, a white vignette and a soft white frame.

Have a great week everyone.  Until next time happy blogging.

    1. I never thought of that. He/She certainly was busy little thing though.

  2. Great shot and wonderful edit! I think you might be right on the ID. According to the iBird Pro app, it appears to be a 1st year winter, adult. Nice spotting. :)

    1. Thank you so much Jackie. Before I tried finding quotes that I thought matched the photo but now they are usually ones I just come across or find that I like and want to share. I'm glad you like them. I have some birding apps on the iPad that help me with identifying some of the birds. They may be available on your new toy. Check them out, they're called iBird and there are a few different ones.

      Love and hugs,
      Cindy

  6. Well, I wouldn't know a palm warbler warbling from a rooster crowing! But I like your photo and again, really like the treatment. Very easy on the eyes!
