Pretty in Purple

"The search for happiness is unlike any other search, for we search last in the likeliest places."  ~Robert Brault

Mexican Petunias planted by my sister a couple or so weeks ago.  The blooms are very pretty but they don't last very long.

Wishing everyone a super Saturday night and a wonderful Sunday.

Until next time...

Cindy

  1. I LOVE Mexican petunias. The blooms don't last BUT they are replaced daily...so the splendor of color just continues and continues. I love this plant...and your photos of the blossom are so pretty, Cindy.
Hugs to you and your Dad, and
hugs to Sweet Annie and Charlie from me.
    Love,
    J.

    2. I did, Cindy. (Too many!! :)) )
I have been under the weather for the past few days, and haven't looked at the photos until tonight. I just posted a few photos of some barns that I took (through the car window.) You are sweet to ask about my photos.
I hope that your sweet pup's procedure goes well.
Hugs and rubs behind the ears for both of your fur babies!!

    3. I just checked out your blog. Love the barns and I always love your photos! I hope you're feeling better soon and that it's nothing serious. Take care, get some rest and feel better.

    1. Thank you Deanna. They're considered invasive plants here in Florida, which is why my sister planted them in a container. I hope you post some photos of your new tree once it gets settled in. Did you decide to name it? Have a great week.

  5. After 8 weeks my petunias are finally starting to fade away. I had no idea there is a Mexican variety. They are very pretty, Cindy! Hope you have a great week!

    1. Thanks Gail. The normal variety of Petunia is much better I think. They last (the blooms) much longer than these do. Have a wonderful week.

  6. I've not heard of Mexican petunias before, but petunias are some of Lois Anne's favorite flowers! I really like this color. It's too bad they don't bloom for a longer time. But I guess there are other flowers to fill in the color void! :)

Hope all goes well with you!

    1. Thanks Lowell. I had never heard of them until about six years ago. I think I like the other Petunia's better. All will be better as soon as Annie is back to normal. Have a good week.
