Home Sweet Home

"Every house where love abides
And friendship is a guest,
Is surely home, and home sweet home
For there the heart can rest."
~Henry Van Dyke

This is our home.  That is until December 3rd, when we will move about 65-70 miles north of Wimauma to Spring Hill.  The first photo is looking out over the back of the property and the second photo is the front of our home.  When you step out onto the back porch you see the big red barn in the distance.  The early mornings here can be magical.  The sun comes up over the trees casting shadows and light and a lot of mornings there is a mist that adds to the beauty.  I will surely miss this piece of land and the little home that sits on it.  It will be hard to leave but I've made a promise to someone that I will try and be happy about the move.  I'll try and accept it and do my best to be happy at the other house.  As the Thanksgiving holiday approaches I'm trying to remember the things I have to be thankful for like my family and all my friends near and far and for finding a house that will accept Charlie and Annie.  Wishing everyone a wonderful and Happy Thanksgiving and may all of you be spending it with the ones you love and where your heart is.  Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

  1. Good luck and best wishes in your new home. Wishing you a wonderful Thanksgiving. I'm sorry that you will miss your old home but you will adapt I'm sure. Love Di ♥

  2. A loving blog, Cindy.
I wish you and your family a happy and healthy Thanksgiving.
Smiles and love to you from Jackie

  3. It's a beautiful home Cindy. I left my home a year and a half ago. A home that I thought would be mine forever. My first real home, and I loved the property it was on. But, I followed my heart and my husband and we are very happy in our new little mountian top home! I hope your adventure turns out well!

  4. Hi Eve. It was a beautiful home. Mom and Dad did so much in the yard by way of planting not only flowers but trees. We really miss it there. Having some difficulty adjusting but I'm sure we'll all be fine. I'm glad that your move ended happily. Hopefully ours will too. Cindy

  5. Hi Jackie. I apologize I didn't respond before now. I forgot that I turned on comment moderation and actually thought I hadn't received any new comments. Sorry about that. We had a great Thanksgiving. I hope you and your family did as well. Take care.

  6. Thanks Diana. I'm sure we will and hopefully sooner rather than later. Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Cindy
