Yellow-throated Warbler |
"Pursue some path, however narrow and crooked, in which you can walk with love and reverence.". ~Henry David Thoreau
This was probably the second or maybe the third time that this bird visited the tree where the feeders hang. I was so excited that it came back. It's a very quiet bird and at first I didn't even see it but luckily it caught my eye and I had just enough time to snap these before it flew off.
Wishing everyone a magnificent Monday. Until next time happy blogging.
~Cindy
He's a beauty!!
ReplyDeleteAnd the masked crusader of the bird world. Thanks for the comment. Hope you are feeling better!
DeleteYou got great pictures of him.
ReplyDeleteThank you Ruth. I almost didn't. When bird watching it helps to pay closer attention.
DeleteLove its markings! I'm sure it was a treat to see and and all catch it "in the box"!
ReplyDeleteIt has great markings and it was a treat to see. I love the photo of its head popping up from the feeder. Cool little bird.
DeleteOh WOW! A yellow-throated warbler!! It's handsome.
ReplyDeleteThey are handsome birds. Hope you're having a great week so far. Thanks for the visit.
DeleteOh Cindy! You know that I'm jealous (in a good way!!)
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy that the li'l fella came back and that you were there 'armed and dangerous' with your lens.
I've been painting all day (not inside...outside!) ....and so our project went one more day without me doing my part. But, don't give up on me. I have a photo that I want to send to you and let you see what I'm talking about with Photoshop, if that's OK.
So glad that you got to see and photograph this beautiful bird.
But...I'm still jealous!!!
:))
I'm so glad he didn't get away from me. He is such a cute little bird and one I don't see often. It was luck that I saw him when I did. :) I sometimes have a tendency to miss what's right in front of my eyes. Hmm, maybe I need new glasses.
DeletePainting sounds like hard work. I'm allergic to house paint, causes itching. As for Photoshop don't worry. I kind of took the day off too. Had to take Dad for blood work and pick up Annie's meds. Please send away. I'd love to see it.
Hugs,
Cindy
Oh, man! What a great bird to come to your feeder! He's beautiful, Cindy. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Gail. He is a beauty. The first time I saw him I couldn't believe it. I did get a photo that day but I've yet to post it. Maybe soon. Happy Tuesday.
DeleteAwesome! I've only seen one but it was the bird that "sparked" my love of birdwatching!
ReplyDeleteThank you Kerri. I can understand why. They are great looking birds. Have a good week.
DeletePretty bird and great shots! I can not wait to start seeing the warblers here!
ReplyDeleteThanks Eileen. I've only seen this one. I wish I'd see more. Have a great rest of the week.
DeleteBeautiful, how lucky you were to get such good shots.
ReplyDeleteThank you Ann. Yes, very lucky. This little bird doesn't visit very often and when it does it's not for very long.
