"Sometimes I do get to places just when God's ready to have somebody click the shutter." ~Ansel Adams
Textures courtesy of Shadowhouse Creations . This is another photo looking back of our property. The land was covered in frost this morning and the sunrise created interesting shadows and light on the ground. I also added a glamour effect to the photo.
Cindy....I put this comment on your other blog...but I want to put it here, too!!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, Cindy...This is such a superb photograph. I can't say enough about it...so, let me start by saying...I love the warmth...the shadows....the look of the South...and the fact that you were at the right place at the right time. God's handiwork is beautiful...and you captured it magnificently!!!
Thank you Jackie. I'm exploring my more artistic side on this blog. Can you tell? I thought the quote was appropriate because that's how I felt. I was meant to get this shot.
ReplyDeleteIn these days of heavy frost and damage to the citrus crops in Florida, this beautiful scene is like a gift from the Almighty. How incredible that this land belongs to you. It is a lovely scene.
ReplyDeleteThanks RNSANE. I love living here. It can be so beautiful at times. Even with the grass brown from the cold and frost it's still pretty to me.
ReplyDeleteCindy...I had to come back.
ReplyDeleteI do hope you frame and hang this one for yourself or your family. This is one of the loveliest shots...and I can't tell you how magnificent it makes me feel to look at it. Yes, I see the artist in you coming out in this photograph. It needs to be in your home!!
Absolutely FABulous Cindy.
ReplyDeleteHi Jackie. Thank you so much. I do like it and I just might have it framed. It would be a great memento to take when we leave.
