"It
is not so much for its beauty that the forest makes a claim upon men's
hearts, as for that subtle something, that quality of air that emanation
from old trees, that so wonderfully changes and renews a weary spirit."
~Robert Louis Stevenson
This is a photo that I posted on an old, no longer existing blog. I hope you don't mind seeing it again. I've been trying to find something that is cheerful and happy for the season but alas it escapes me.
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas. ~Cindy
There is something majestic in old trees.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo.
Merry Christmas to you too. : )
Thanks and Merry Christmas again.
ReplyDeleteCindy...I have been remiss in posting to you blog. I apologize.
ReplyDeleteAs I look at this photo...I see beauty...and I also see a loneliness that I know you feel, my friend.
May the arms of comfort be long and sustaining for you.
This is a beautiful photograph.
Christmas is a time for remembering....
May your day be a blessed one.
Love,
Jackie
I think your followers understand. I do. I did try to find something that was upbeat but I really couldn't. Yesterday was a month since mom's been gone. It was a bad day but then again every day is a bad day at least for me.
ReplyDeleteWishing you and your family a wonderful and Merry Christmas.
Love,
Cindy
Your pictures remember me my trip in Florida,
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year Cindy !
Best wishes from France...
Pierre
